Have you tried a linked double crochet yet?
If you have not my friend, you are in for a TREAT!
This stitch might just be my favorite thing on the planet…I mean next to my family…but it’s a very close second…
I kept hearing about this stitch for the longest time and just never bothered to look it up and learn it. Then one day I was trying to find a way to design a colorwork pattern that would not end up being SO DAMN THICK. Those single crochets really make for a stiff fabric and I wanted something that would move and drape a bit better.
So I finally decided to try out this stitch. And suddenly I couldn’t figure out how I’d lived my whole crochet life without it!!

Why learn the linked double crochet?
Because it is SO EASY to learn and it will change your life!
By linking your double crochet stitches, you get the benefits of the double crochet over the single crochet stitch;
-Thinner fabric with a better drape
-Quicker to work larger swathes of fabric
WITHOUT the one big downside…All those damned pesky gaps and holes!
Look ma! No GAPS!

Could not see any video and the you tube video would not open. Real classy of a website when you design vulgar words
I’m sorry the link wasn’t working, perhaps a browser issue because I tested it and it’s working for me :/ This is the link to the video if you would like to view it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nWNxy0yMjqQ&t=124s As for the classiness of my site, my humor and patterns are not for everyone and that’s OK 🙂 I hope you find the video helpful 🙂
